I like the piano thing in the begining and the rest of the song, its so relaxing. The lead feels like it fades in and out which is cool. It could use some more bass

pitbulljones responds:

Thank you. I very much agree it needs more bass, I'll remix it when my ears are rested :) Thanks again.

wow the effects in this are nuts, it's so unusual and cool

spikel responds:

Thanks man, unusual is a big compliment to me

The synth choice for this track is good I also love the jumpy drop with the saw lead in there. The melody is nice also, one thing that could be cool is to use a saw bass with some unison within the mid range to kinda growl a little. Everything is uplifting and awesome, well done

DJ-DannyTV responds:

Ohh Thank you so much!!
I'm working on better songs =)

The lead could use some more eq to make it a little neater. The drums are also a little quiet. In dubstep they are usually more loud, and you can sidechain everything to the drums so they are a little more punchy. I like how the melody and chords work off of eachother, it just needs a bit of cleaning up.

Telaris responds:

The Lead is definitely getting EQed. The drums are sidechained to everything, I just need to mix them a bit louder lol.

Thank you dude, this is a pretty old song on it's own so I just gotta see what I can work with IMO.

The chord progression hooked me in from the beginning, its cool. The drums make it seem a little chill, but they are a little busy. At 1:10 it would be cool to use a different kick and differend snare to change things up a little. The lead sound is awesome, its mellow and laid back. The structure is a little repetitive, try and experiment with some different arrangement styles. The vibe is kinda dreamy, its neat!

PanBat responds:

thanks for the feedback! before i put this on spotify i plan on changing some of the arrangement to fix the issue of it being too repetitive

The intro is full of some good energy, maybe there is a bit too much of white noise in the growly bass thing. The way it transitions in to the piano is cool, it really defines the melody. A useful thing to use is some sidechain to make the drums a little more punchy. But it sounds good!

jebuscrust9 responds:

I appreciate the feedback, will definitely try out some sidechain for the drums

woah this is really cool, I can't believe you made this with only stock plugins. I love the jazzy melodies in there, and the vocals work really well. Keep doing stuff like this
